What is a Farmers Market?
Definition- A farmers' market is a market I that tends to stay in a central or stationary location. At which farmers sell local grown or produced food directly to the public. Normally fruits and vegetables, but not limited to dairy, meat and grain products.
Farmers markets are important for multiple reasons. To begin, farmers markets are great for the local economy.
If you spend $100 at a farmers' market, $62 goes back into the local economy, and $99 out of $100 stays in the state. Second of all almost every thing at a farmers market is organic and locally grown.
